We are currently looking for an IT Support Technician to join our global IT team. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in an IT support desk environment, helping people solve a wide range of technical issues. You will need solid technical expertise combined with strong customer service skills, a teamwork mentality, and a desire to help others.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and solve tickets from the support desk ticketing system through inbound/outbound calls, MS Teams, or email.
  • Help Team Members with a wide range of IT issues, remoting into computers to provide "hands-on" assistance, while talking with them on the phone.
  • Interact with local staff to understand and escalate a wide range of IT issues.
  • Use Active Directory and Azure Active Directory to retrieve information, assign permissions, reset passwords, etc.
  • Receive, configure, and ship Windows 10 laptops, peripherals, along with Apple iPhones and iPads, while updating the inventory system.
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair basic laptop hardware issues.
  • Work with hardware vendors over the phone to troubleshoot issues or arrange for warranty repairs.
  • Assist with onboarding, user training, and knowledge base documentation.
  • Research and test hardware, software products, and system solutions during IT projects.

Requisitos

  • 1+ years of practical, hands-on IT helpdesk and customer service experience. Additional professional coursework in computer science or certification, such as A+ preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of troubleshooting Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and Azure.
  • Excels at teamwork and working with people to solve complex/advanced issues, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently.
  • Candidates must be Panamanian citizens or hold a valid work permit for employment in Panama
  • Advanced verbal and written English communication
