We are seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Bookkeeper to take ownership of the entire accounting process. This is a hands-on role where you will manage bookkeeping, reporting, reconciliations, and collections while ensuring accuracy across all financial records.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage all bookkeeping functions (except issuing sales invoices)
  • Record income & expenses and reconcile bank/credit card accounts.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports (trial balance, GL detail, AP/AR aging).
  • Send AR statements and handle collections when necessary.
  • Prepare and submit monthly sales tax reports to accountants.
  • Maintain loan/lease schedules, fixed asset records, and COGS adjustments.

Requisitos

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) proficiency. (Mandatory)
  • Reliable, independent with attention to detail, organization and accuracy.
  • Comfortable managing AR collections calls when needed
  • Candidates must be Panamanian citizens or hold a valid work permit for employment in Panama
  • Advanced-Level English language skills (verbal and written).
